In-Person Reiki Session (your location)

Service Description

I come to you! I bring my portable massage table, fresh linens, and everything else needed for your Reiki session. You might want to use your own pillow. I will just need a quiet place to set up where we won't be interrupted until the 60 minute session is over and the space needs to be large enough that I can move all around the massage table (contact me if you have questions about this). I will arrive ten minutes before your scheduled time to set everything up so that we can begin on time.  What happens during a Reiki session? We'll spend a few minutes talking and getting acquainted first. I'll ask you to set an intention for the session and for what you hope will happen afterwards. I'll ask you if you have any areas you'd like me to spend extra time on and if there are any areas you do not want me to touch you (any areas that would normally be covered by a swimsuit are automatically on that list, as well as ears and neck). You do not need to remove any clothing or wear any kind of special clothing. Whatever is most comfortable is fine.  Next, you'll get comfortable on the massage table and then I'll lead you in a brief meditation to get you into a relaxed state. There is nothing you need to do from this point on. I'll place my hands on specific parts of your body, starting at your head and torso and then going clockwise around your body. I usually keep my hands in one place for a couple of minutes, but it depends on what I pick up on when I'm there. If you have told me you are uncomfortable with touch on any area (or all of them), I will hover my hands over that area without touching you. Once I've gone all around, I will return to any areas that need extra attention. When I'm done, I will let you know and slowly bring you out of your meditative state and give you a chance to grab a drink of water or use the restroom. Once you're feeling alert, I can let you know what I experienced during the session if you'd like me to and you're welcome to let me know what you experienced (sharing with me is completely up to you).
